These Conditions of Use apply to all contracts for the Sale of Goods entered into by World of Martial Arts®; where an order is submitted to World of Martial Arts® it will be accepted on these conditions, and no other.

Purchase from World of Martial Arts®

When you place an order with World of Martial Arts® you are offering to buy the goods and in doing so allow us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying these goods. This is when the contract for sale of products between you as the customer and World of Martial Arts® is made. Title in the goods shall not pass to you until you have paid the full price for the goods. For purchases by Business Acount, until title passes from us to you by way of payment in full you shall store and secure the goods at your own cost, clearly identified that they are still the property of World of Martial Arts®.

The price payable for goods is displayed on the website at the time of placing an order. If any goods have been incorrectly priced on the website, we shall not be obliged to supply the goods at the advertised price. All prices and offers are subject to change and availability. Quotations are given irrespective of the availability of products.

Delivery

We aim to stock all goods displayed on the website. We operate using a 24 hour courier service and will endeavour to deliver all orders within 2 - 3 working days from confirmation of order, subject to items being in stock.

All dates quoted for delivery are estimates and offered in good faith. Where a product may be out of stock we will replenish as soon as possible.  As we mainly manufacture in the Far East this can take several weeks, we will also keep you advised of approximate delivery dates. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss claimed by the purchaser in the event of inability to meet such dates.

Payment

World of Martial Arts® wish to make ordering online as easy as possible, there are two main ways to purchase:-

Credit Card / Debit Card Payment

World of Martial Arts® accept payment through Barclays/PayPal, Credit or Debit card. Barclays and Paypal are the world's leading online money transfer companies who ensure safe, secure and instant transactions. We maintain a policy whereby we do not retain any credit card information during or after any payment transaction.

Credit Account

World of Martial Arts® can, on request and at the company's discretion, initiate a credit account application for business customers only. Business customers are required to provide company registration number, where applicable, details of the company name and address, along with business references, when applying for a new credit account application. Account holders who successfully complete the credit account application process and are approved will be eligible to an agreed credit limit with which they may purchase items online up to the agreed value limit. This website uses a facility to track the credit used and credit still available for each credit account member when they log in online.

Order Confirmation

World of Martial Arts® will send you an electronic confirmation of orders placed on this website, when you place an order and when your payment has been confirmed using Barclays/Paypal. Notification of despatch will usually be sent to you within 1-2 working days of your order being processed.

Privacy

We are committed to ensuring your privacy is protected and we will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent. For full details of our privacy commitments please see our Privacy Notice.


Carriage

We usually despatch orders by courier, a service which requires signature upon delivery.  Please ensure where possible that someone will be available to sign. Alternatively once the courier has been the first time a card with contact details will be left and it will then be possible to arrange collection or reschedule a more convenient delivery time. Occasionally it may be necessary to deliver goods in several consignments for which there will be no further cost. Please read Carriage & Returns for full details.

Return of Unwanted Goods

Our returns policy is straightforward and uncomplicated. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase contact us by email at mailto:returns@worldmartialarts.co.ukm.  We can either arrange for an exchange or refund, at which time you will be sent a returns form. Return the goods in an unused, re-sellable condition and in the original relevant packaging, within 7 days of having received the goods, together with the fully completed returns form and we will give you a full refund on the cost of the goods. Where an item has been sent free carriage there will be a £5.00 fee to cover costs.

Returns can only be accepted with a fully completed returns form and we reserve the right to refuse returned goods if not in their original, packaging and/or in a re-sellable condition.  Should any returns be refused we will notify you in writing with a full explanation. Please note that as the customer, it is your responsibility to arrange returns and to protect your returns we would recommend you use a registered form of delivery.

We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any delivery and costs to collect the goods if required, within 30 days starting with the day on which we receive a notice of cancellation in writing from you.

Any goods which are returned after the 7 day period will be subject to a restocking fee of £15.00.

Return of Faulty Goods

World of Martial Arts® will endeavour to ensure that all goods purchased arrive in perfect condition. In the event that this is not the case, please email returns@worldmartialarts.co.uk within 3 days of the receipt of the goods.  We will contact you to arrange replacement goods or a full refund. We accept liability limited to the nett invoice value charge of the delivered products, in the event of any products purchased and delivered being defective.

Order Cancellation
 

Should you wish to cancel your order prior to receipt of goods, please contact us by email at returns@worldmartialarts.co.uk The right of cancellation applies only to standard website advertised items, and does not apply to any products which may have been placed as special orders. We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any delivery costs, and costs to collect the goods if required, within 30 days starting with the day on which we receive a notice of cancellation in writing from you.

Please note that 7 working days notice is required to cancel this contract starting on the day after the day you receive the confirmation of your order from us.  Please email returns@worldmartialarts.co.uk to request a returns form. We would remind you that once you have notified us of your desire to cancel the contract there is a legal requirement for you to take good care of the goods. Returning the goods to us is at your cost and the return should be sent with a completed return form. We advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured and use a delivery service that requires a signature. If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation, or if you request, we can collect the goods from you at your cost.

We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any delivery costs and costs to collect the goods if required, within 30 days starting with the day on which we receive a notice of cancellation in writing from you.

In the incidence where any products are being returned to World of Martial Arts® due to being faulty, incorrect goods or as a result of an unsuitable substitution World of Martial Arts® will refund the cost of return and may ask that you allow us to specify the carrier.

Special Orders

Placing an order for any products not listed in the current website is considered a special order. Cancellation of a special order may, at the discretion of World of Martial Arts®, incur a surcharge.

Claims for Damage, Shortage or Non Delivery

Claims for damage, shortage or non delivery must be advised by email within 7 days of the advised despatch date of delivery and World of Martial Arts® reserve the right to refuse acceptance of claims for damage, shortage or non delivery after that time.
